Accompanying persons programme

A number of exciting optional tours have been arranged for accompanying persons, to showcase what Melbourne has to offer.  To book, complete the 'Optional Tours' section of the online booking form. All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry & booking fees and meals where specified.

All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on all tours are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment. Where participants cancel their tour bookings prior to 5 August 2011 payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made.

OT2:   Yarra Valley Food and Wine Experience, Victoria

Visit the Yarra Valley for a day of fine food and wine only an hour and a half drive from Melbourne. Travel through the Dandenong ranges to arrive at the destination - the Yarra Valley. Visit three premier wineries for personalised wine tastings, sample local cheeses and enjoy a delicious two course lunch at a vineyard restaurant before returning to the city.

This coach tour is designed to give partners an orientation of the city. The tour includes visits to points of interest such as Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne Cricket Ground and Olympic Park, Southern Cross Station, Federation Square, the Shrine of Remembrance, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Albert Park Lake and the Grand Prix site.

Discover Melbourne’s creative retail community in the city on a three hour walking tour through Melbourne's beautiful lanes and arcades. This tour is designed to show participants some fabulous local designers and specialty retailers in the city. Seek out the creatives who choose to live and produce their work in Melbourne with a local guide who has a passion for the creative elements of the city. A little history and attention to amazing architecture is incorporated into the tour to inspire guests. This walking tour concludes with lunch and a glass of wine.
